Install Maps Business Scraper from the Chrome Web Store or Microsoft Edge Add-ons. Then click the puzzle-piece icon in your toolbar and pin it so it’s one click away.

Click the extension icon to open the side panel, then Sign in. Log in on our website and the extension connects automatically. If it doesn’t, go to Dashboard → Extension, click Get a sign-in code, and paste it into the extension under “Paste a sign-in code”.

Open Google Maps and search for a business type and place, like “roofers in Tampa FL”. In the side panel, pick what to collect (leads only, + emails, or + emails & socials), set how many results you want, and press Start extracting. Every list is saved under Lead lists.

Every new account gets 100 free leads at any level, including emails and socials, so you can try everything before buying credits.

The extension reads the list of results on the left of Google Maps. Make sure you searched for a type of business (not one specific business) and the results list is visible, then press Start again.

Google Maps shows a limited number of results per search (often around 120). Try smaller areas, like neighborhoods or nearby towns, or use Batch searches to run several areas back to back. It also stops if your credits run out.

Open Batch searches in the side panel and enter one search per line, or combine business types with locations. Press Run batch and the extension runs each search in turn. Each one becomes its own list, and the batch stops automatically if credits run out.

The side panel needs Chrome 116 or newer, or a current version of Edge. Update your browser, then click the extension icon again. If it’s still blank, go to your browser’s extensions page and click reload on Maps Business Scraper.

Quick reads each result card and is fast. Full details opens every listing for the complete address, phone, website and hours. It’s slower but fills in more fields.

We visit each business’s own website (homepage, contact and about pages) and collect the emails and social profiles they publicly list there.

Many small businesses only use a contact form or phone number, or have no website at all. When we can’t find an email, you’re automatically refunded down to the $1 per 1,000 rate, so you never pay the email rate for a lead without one.

Usually a few seconds per business, running several at once in the background. You can close the side panel; progress continues and results appear in your list and CSV.

No. Re-collecting a business you already have is free. Upgrading it to a higher level only charges the difference.

Use Reset password and we’ll email you a link.

Go to Dashboard → Extension and click Sign out next to the browser. It stops working immediately.

Go to Settings → Delete account. This permanently removes your account, lead lists and unused credits.
